FAQ

Do you deliver?

Under certain circumstances, we will pick up and/or deliver, if you're within a certain radius. There will be a pick up / delivery fee based on the distance. If you are in extreme close proximity, such as at Lake Frederick, typically the delivery fee is waived.

How much does a restoration cost?

The cost varies greatly depending on the type of furniture, the size, the amount of damage, etc. Please call or e-mail us photos of your piece for an estimate.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Currently, the only accepted forms of payment are cash or check. Checks need to be made out to Jim Headley and not Headley's Antiques.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Appointments are preferred. If you arrive without an appointment, there is a chance no one will be available at that time to assist you.

Is Headley's Antiques a furniture showroom with items for sale?

No, we are not currently selling any furniture or other antiques. We provide furniture refinishing, restoration, and woodwork services.

Which building on the Wheatland Estate is Headley's Antiques?

The stone and brick houses on the Wheatland Estate are private residences, and are not part of Headley's Antiques. Please follow the gravel road, past the parking lot, and proceed to the big red barn.

Do you repair or replace upholstery?

Headley's Antiques does not work with upholstery, but we can recommend Centennial Upholstery in Winchester, Virginia. However, if a piece needs woodwork repair or refinishing as a prerequisite to upholstery, we routinely do that.

Do you restore painted furniture?

Due to the increased cost of remover, we are no longer taking on jobs that require many layers of paint removal. This will be determined on a case by case basis. If you have questions about your specific piece, don't hesitate to contact us.

Do you repair chair caning?

Headley's Antiques does not offer chair caning services, but we can recommend Fosters Wicker Co. in Winchester, Virginia.
